Collection: Nishijin Art Ori



Nishijin Ori is a Japanese traditional craft that originated after the Onin War that began in 1467 and the textile craftsmen re-started the work at the site of the Western Army Headquarter. And, "Nishijin Art Ori" was born by applying that technology. 

It is woven by the master of Nishijin just like the real one using thousands of multicolored silk warp threads and tens of thousands of weft threads including national treasure class Buddhist statues as well as Genji story and Ito Jakuchu`s masterpieces.
